Inter Report €22.7m Profit in 2025-26 Accounts

Inter’s board has approved the club’s draft accounts for the 2025-26 financial year, setting out a second consecutive profit and a return to positive group equity as the Italian champions prepare for another demanding season across Serie A and Europe.

The decision

The draft budget records gross revenue of €518 million and a net profit of €22.7 million. It is Inter’s second-best revenue result, behind only the €567 million posted in 2024-25, when the Club World Cup and a run to the Champions League final brought exceptional income.

The latest profit follows the €35 million surplus registered the previous year. Inter said the result was built on steadier revenue and a reduction of roughly €20 million in production costs, equivalent to four per cent.

Commercial income rose by seven per cent, with merchandise sales making a significant contribution after the club introduced a new business model with Fanatics. Average matchday income per event also increased.

Player-trading income was up by €11 million. At the same time, amortisation and impairment charges linked to players’ multi-year registration rights fell by €8 million.

The improvement has moved Inter’s group equity back into positive territory, at €10.4 million, after it stood at minus €12 million at the end of the 2024-25 accounts.

A stronger base beyond the pitch

Financial charges fell by around 50 per cent, a reduction of €19 million, following the refinancing completed at the end of last year. The replacement financing carries a lower cost of capital than the previous arrangement.

Inter have also begun a substantial investment programme at the Inter Training Center in Appiano Gentile and the Konami Women & Talent Center in Interello, extending the club’s work on its infrastructure alongside the recovery in its accounts.

The summer market expanded Cristian Chivu’s squad with new international prospects added to an established core. That group will enter Serie A as reigning champions while beginning a ninth straight Champions League campaign.

At the opening of the 2026-27 season, Inter also signed a new agreement with BBVA. The bank becomes the club’s Official Sleeve Partner and Official Banking Partner, while appearing as Front Jersey Partner for youth sides from Under-18 level down.

Inter’s stated objective is to pursue every domestic and European competition with ambition, while continuing to strengthen the club away from the field. The accounts offer a clear part of that wider picture: the champions are seeking continuity in their football and greater solidity in the structure around it.
