Italy vs Turkey: Nations League Kick-Off Time and How to Watch

Bologna hosts a pivotal UEFA Nations League meeting on 5 October as Italy, third in the section, welcome bottom-side Turkey for the fourth matchday. Kick-off is scheduled for 12:45 Mexico City time, with Sky Sports carrying the match.

Italy arrive with four points after recovering a draw against France, while Turkey are still looking for their first point of the campaign. France lead the group on seven points, Belgium are second with six, and the Italians know a home victory would keep them close to the leading pair.

Italy rescue a point in France

France appeared set to extend their perfect run when Michael Olise struck in the 55th minute. The forward’s curling effort from around 20 metres clipped the crossbar before dropping into the net.

Italy responded when France failed to deal with a defensive situation midway through the second half. Centre-back Alessandro Bastoni found space in the area and guided a low finish inside the right-hand post to make it 1-1.

The result halted France’s run of wins during the international window and left Italy on four points heading into the Bologna fixture.

Turkey come off Belgium defeat

Turkey travel to Emilia-Romagna after a 3-0 loss to Belgium in Liège. Kevin De Bruyne, the 35-year-old Napoli playmaker, shaped the contest with Belgium’s first two goals at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne.

He opened the scoring after 10 minutes, exchanging passes with Dodi Lukébakio before shooting from near the edge of the penalty area. De Bruyne added a second with a curling strike around half an hour later, before substitute Romelu Lukaku completed the scoring.

Lukébakio also struck the post twice as Belgium dominated the occasion. De Bruyne said he aims to set an example for younger teammates and still feels capable of contributing, adding that he is enjoying his football.

For Turkey, Bologna offers a chance to reset after that difficult evening in Belgium. Italy, meanwhile, will seek to turn their hard-earned point in France into a home result that reshapes the group’s middle order.
