Javier “Vasco” Aguirre is heading back to Spanish football, with the Mexican coach taking on the task of reviving a side in difficulty.
A return from uncertainty
Aguirre described the decision as a turning point after a period in which he had considered walking away from management altogether.
“I was in the limbo between leaving everything behind once and for all or carrying on,” he said.
The experienced Mexican returns to Spain with a rescue job ahead, joining a club seeking a way out of its troubled position.
