Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. said he expects to take the field this season, though he did not put a timetable on his return.
Porter said he is “definitely” planning to play in 2026, but the Steelers have not established an exact date for when the starting defensive back will be available again. His status will remain a key issue for Pittsburgh’s secondary as the club works through the season.
