Juventus found its footing again at the Allianz Stadium, beating Atalanta 2-0 to put the Sassuolo setback behind it and restore some order to its Serie A campaign. Luciano Spalletti’s side paired a controlled league performance with the confidence gained from its 5-0 Europa League win over NEC.

The home side carried the more consistent threat during the first half and made that superiority count before the half-hour. Alajbegovic started the move, Zeki Çelik delivered from the flank, and Conceição arrived in the area to beat Marco Carnesecchi.
Atalanta felt it should have had a route back soon afterwards when Jonathan Rowe went down in the Juventus area, but the referee did not award a penalty. Sarri, returning to a stadium familiar from an earlier stage of his career, again left without a result.
There was more purpose from the visitors after the interval. Rowe tested Guglielmo Vicario with a fierce effort that the goalkeeper turned behind, while Juventus had chances to widen the gap rather than simply protect it.
Weston McKennie came close with a header that drew an excellent save from Carnesecchi. Yet Juventus kept Atalanta’s spell of pressure from developing into a sustained assault, retaining control of the match when it mattered most.
The second goal arrived in the 77th minute. Bremer rose to meet a corner and headed Juventus clear, giving Spalletti’s team a result that carried more than three points after the previous weekend’s loss at Sassuolo.
For Juventus, the week ended with two wins and seven goals across Europe and Serie A. Atalanta, meanwhile, leaves Turin with another empty afternoon and a third straight defeat to address.
