Juventus have been forced into an early adjustment in their goalkeeping department after Kamil Grabara suffered a serious knee injury that will keep him out for the rest of the campaign.
Grabara’s season halted after European debut
The Polish goalkeeper had only just begun his Juventus chapter in Europe. He made his Europa League debut against NEC and came through the match without conceding, but the clean sheet was followed by a damaging setback on the training ground.

A message from hospital
After the operation, Grabara published a photograph from his hospital bed and addressed the Juventus public through Instagram.
“I will not lie: this is not something I ever wanted to post, but sometimes life changes quickly,” he wrote. “Thank you very much for all the messages, support and kind words.”
Juventus fans responded in large numbers, leaving thousands of supportive reactions for the goalkeeper as he starts the long road back from one of football’s most demanding injuries.
Juventus look to Neto
While the club continue to support Grabara through his recovery, Juventus have also moved to cover the vacancy among the goalkeepers for the remainder of the season and beyond.
The preferred solution is Neto, the Brazilian former Juventus goalkeeper who is currently without a club following his departure from Botafogo. He is open to a return to Turin, nine years after his previous spell with the Bianconeri.
An agreement running until 2027 is reportedly ready for the 36-year-old, who would arrive as cover following Grabara’s injury. For Juventus, it would be a familiar figure returning at a moment when a season can turn on the smallest changes in the squad.
