Munich is the next stop in Germany’s Nations League recovery mission, with Jürgen Klopp turning to a second group of players after an unconvincing opening to the A2 campaign.
Germany have taken only one point from their first two matches under the former Liverpool manager. A 1-1 draw with Xavi Hernández’s Netherlands was followed by a 1-0 defeat to Greece, who lead the group after winning both of their fixtures.
Serbia visit Munich on Thursday before Germany travel to Greece on Sunday. With little room left for error, Klopp has retained a small core from his initial selection while rotating through the wider 44-man squad called for this international window.

Nico Schlotterbeck of Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry, Freiburg pair Philipp Treu and Yannik Engelhardt, Hoffenheim’s Bambasé Conté and Augsburg goalkeeper Finn Dahmen remain involved from the first group.
Karim Adeyemi has returned to Barcelona, while Florian Wirtz and Jonathan Burkardt continue in the squad under different circumstances. Both were initially part of the second block, but joined the first after Jamal Musiala and Kai Havertz suffered injuries against the Netherlands.
Wirtz, now with Liverpool, and Eintracht Frankfurt forward Burkardt are included again for the Serbia and Greece matches.
Germany squad for the final two matches
In goal, Klopp has selected Noah Atoboulu of Eintracht Frankfurt, Dahmen and Bayern Munich’s Jonas Urbig.
The defensive unit consists of Borussia Dortmund’s Waldemar Anton, Ridle Baku of RB Leipzig, Stuttgart duo Finn Jeltsch and Maximilian Mittelstädt, RB Leipzig left-back David Raum and Newcastle defender Malik Thiaw.
Germany’s midfield options are Celtic’s Mika Baur, Bayern’s Tom Bischof and Aleksandar Pavlovic, Cologne’s Said El Mala, Brajan Gruda of RB Leipzig, Brentford’s Vitaly Janelt, Elversberg’s Felix Keidel, Freiburg’s Derry Sherhant and Wirtz.
Burkardt and Newcastle forward Nick Woltemade complete the attacking selection as Germany seek the results required to revive their position in the group.
