Michael Olise has been named Bundesliga Player of the Month for September after Bayern Munich’s 7-0 win over Union Berlin, and his first FC 27 POTM item is now available in Ultimate Team.
- Olise, 24, won the September vote ahead of Igor Matanovic and Maximilian Mittelstädt.
- He made no goal contribution after coming on in Bayern’s 0-0 draw with Schalke 04.
- He started the 2-1 victory over SV Elversberg without a goal or assist.
- Against Union Berlin, Olise won the penalty for 2-0, scored Bayern’s third, set up the fourth and completed a hat-trick with the sixth and seventh goals.
- The POTM card has a 91 overall rating, five-star skill moves and a three-star weak foot.
- Its PlayStyle+ is Technical, replacing the Finesse Shot+ on Olise’s earlier Team of the Week item. The POTM version also receives the silver Inventive PlayStyle.
- The Team of the Week card remains one point higher for shooting and physicality.
- Olise’s TOTW card is valued at 970,000 coins on consoles, while the POTM Squad Building Challenge is estimated at 590,000 coins.
- The SBC is expected to cost around 700,000 coins to complete. A lower-cost solution uses eight 84-rated gold cards and one 83-rated gold card.
- The challenge will remain live for four weeks.
What it changes in the Bundesliga week
Olise’s September award rests largely on one exceptional afternoon at the Allianz Arena. Bayern’s right-sided attacker had been quiet on the scoresheet in the first two league matches of the month, then produced four direct goal involvements against Union.
For FC 27 players, the monthly reward is not a clear upgrade on the card released eight days earlier. The newer item changes Olise’s PlayStyle+ profile but falls behind the TOTW version in some base ratings. It instead offers a cheaper route to a high-rated Bayern winger for Ultimate Team squads.
