- Milan and Lecce meet at the Meazza in Milan on Sunday 20 September, with kick-off scheduled for 20:45.
- Antonio La Penna of the Rome 1 section has been appointed referee.
- Milan arrive needing a domestic response after their European defeat against Benfica. Three points have eluded Amorim’s team in each of the previous two Serie A rounds.
- Lecce travel north after taking a home win over Monza in their latest league outing, giving Eusebio Di Francesco’s group a positive result to build upon.
Expected selections
Amorim is expected to set Milan up in a 3-4-2-1, with Mike Maignan behind a back three of Mario Gila, Koni De Winter and Strahinja Pavlovic. Samuel Chukwueze, Adrien Rabiot, Luka Modric and Diego Moreira are forecast in midfield, while Christian Pulisic and Cissé could support Gonçalo Ramos.
Milan have no reported absentees, suspensions or players one booking from a ban.
