One more summer stop before camp
It was a light afternoon at the ballpark for the Bruins, with the group on hand before the Red Sox hosted Kansas City in one of Fenway’s last games ahead of the hockey calendar ramping up.
Geekie and Jeannot supplied the loudest moments during batting practice, both clearing the left-field wall. Geekie then had the spotlight for the pregame ceremony, stepping to the mound for the first pitch.
The club will soon turn its attention back to the rink as camp begins next week.
