Nico Paz has earned a place in the Champions Team of the Week after a decisive third matchday in the continental competition, where the attacking midfielder struck twice.
His double was enough to secure recognition among the 11 standout players from the round, rewarding an evening in which Paz supplied the cutting edge in front of goal. The selection places him alongside the leading performers from matchday three across the tournament.
For Paz, the inclusion is another marker of a continental night shaped by two finishes and the kind of individual impact that rarely goes unnoticed beyond his own club’s city.
