González carries cup form into continental test
González has recorded three goals and two assists so far, with all five contributions coming in the Greek Cup. His league account remains unopened, and the meeting with Jagiellonia offers another stage on which to make his mark.
The former Chivas player started Olympiacos’ 1-0 defeat away to OFI Crete in the fourth round of the Greek league season. It was another opportunity to score in the championship after his productive cup displays, but the breakthrough did not arrive.

- In the 63rd minute, he found space for another effort that was heading towards goal before the OFI goalkeeper intervened.
- González was replaced four minutes later by Roman Yaremchuk.
