Paris Saint-Germain return to the Parc des Princes tonight for a Ligue 1 meeting with tenth-placed Le Mans, with Luis Enrique using the occasion to bring 16-year-old goalkeeper Arthur Bar into a senior matchday squad for the first time.
A first senior call for Arthur Bar
Bar is the sole new face in a 21-man PSG selection for the home fixture. The teenage goalkeeper joins an experienced group that includes Gianluigi Donnarumma’s alternatives Lucas Chevalier and Matvey Safonov, as well as a number of regular first-team figures.
- Arthur Bar, aged 16, receives his first call-up with PSG’s first team.
- Fabián Ruiz is included despite having recently become a father.
- Ferran Torres and Warren Zaïre-Emery are both available after carrying fitness concerns.
- Le Mans arrive in Paris sitting tenth in the Ligue 1 table.
Rest for Dembélé and Nuno Mendes
Ousmane Dembélé and Nuno Mendes have not been selected, with Luis Enrique choosing to give both players a rest. There are also two injury-related absences: Longoni and Senny Mayulu are unavailable for the match.
The decision leaves PSG without several familiar options as they prepare for an evening under the lights in western Paris, but the squad still contains strong defensive, midfield and attacking depth.
