In Paris, with the transfer market now shut, Paris Saint-Germain have turned their attention from arrivals and departures to the contracts at the heart of Luis Enrique’s side. Désiré Doué is the latest priority, with the French champions offering the 21-year-old winger a substantially improved long-term agreement.

PSG have proposed an extension that would keep Doué in the French capital until either 2031 or 2032. His current deal runs through June 2029, following his 2024 move from Rennes.
The club want to reflect Doué’s growing weight within the squad, both in the length of the proposed contract and in a significant salary increase. The player is also keen on committing to a lengthy new agreement, leaving the negotiations well placed to reach a conclusion soon.
Across his first two seasons in Paris, Doué has developed into one of the side’s central attacking figures. He has recorded 30 goals and 28 assists in 108 appearances for PSG.
The discussions form part of a wider contract drive at the club. Ousmane Dembélé is close to signing a renewal through 2030, while talks with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia have reached an advanced stage.
PSG’s urgency is shaped by recent departures. Goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma joined Manchester City in 2025 after declining to renew, while winger Bradley Barcola moved to Liverpool this summer in similar circumstances. The Paris club are seeking to avoid another situation in which a key player approaches an uncertain contractual future.
