PSG Open Contract Renewal Talks with Désiré Doué

In Paris, the season’s next decisions are being prepared away from the floodlights. Paris Saint-Germain have opened talks with Désiré Doué over a new contract, seeking to secure the French international’s long-term future after his rise in the capital.

The Ligue 1 news

PSG have made Doué a renewal offer despite the winger already being tied to the club until June 2029. The proposed agreement is expected to run until 2031, underlining how quickly the 21-year-old has become a central figure in the squad.

Doué has taken a major step forward during his two years at PSG and has also established himself in the France setup, recording 15 caps and three goals. His new deal is expected to include a substantial pay increase reflecting his increased importance to the team.

Paris have shifted their attention towards contract renewals following the end of the transfer window. Ousmane Dembélé is close to committing until 2030, while Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is in advanced discussions over his own extension.

The club’s approach mirrors the case of João Neves, who received an improved contract after only one campaign with PSG, the two-time European champions. Doué is also keen to remain in Paris for the long term, raising the prospect of a swift agreement.
