Paris Saint-Germain will have a small pocket of support at Poissy on Saturday, even if Marseille remains off limits the following night. PSG’s final training session before Le Classique will be opened to members of the Collectif Ultras Paris and children supported by the PSG Foundation.
A partially opened final session in Poissy
The Ligue 1 leaders’ last workout before travelling south had initially been scheduled behind closed doors. It will not be entirely private, however, with selected supporters allowed into the Poissy training ground ahead of Sunday’s match at Marseille.
- Members of the Collectif Ultras Paris will be admitted to watch the session.
- Children benefiting from the PSG Foundation will also attend.
- The training takes place on Saturday, one day before the trip to the Stade Vélodrome.
Supporters barred from the Vélodrome
The gesture comes as PSG fans will be unable to follow their team in Marseille. A prefectural order has prohibited Paris supporters from travelling to the Vélodrome for the fixture.
Sunday’s meeting kicks off at 20:45 and brings the curtain down on Ligue 1’s fifth round. For PSG, the Poissy session offers their ultras a final chance to send the squad off before one of the season’s most charged domestic evenings.
