Paris is preparing for one of the autumn’s most expensive European nights as Paris Saint-Germain welcome Barcelona to the Parc des Princes on Tuesday 20 October, with kick-off set for 21:00.
The Champions League meeting has generated exceptional demand. PSG’s initial allocation disappeared quickly, and the club’s official resale system has become the remaining route for supporters seeking a place inside the stadium.
Quick facts
- Paris Saint-Germain face Barcelona at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday 20 October at 21:00.
- Only around 100 tickets remain through PSG’s authorised resale platform.
- The least expensive upper-tier seats now cost more than €500.
- Lower-row places are being listed between €810 and €850.
- Tickets close to the benches and players’ tunnel exceed €1,300.
- PSG won 2-1 away to Barcelona in last season’s Champions League league phase.
Season-ticket holders are permitted to place their seats back on the official market, and some have taken the opportunity presented by Barcelona’s visit to recover a substantial part of the cost of their annual subscription.
With supply increasingly thin, prices have climbed sharply. The few available seats near the front are moving quickly, while the premium locations alongside the technical areas and tunnel have passed €1,300.
The fixture also brings a recent European score to settle. PSG left Barcelona’s Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys with a 2-1 victory during the league phase of the previous Champions League campaign.
Barcelona now return to the French capital seeking a response against Luis Enrique’s side, with the visitors aiming to show they can challenge the reigning continental standard.
