In Fleury, Paris Saint-Germain’s women continued their flawless domestic start with a controlled 3-1 derby victory over FC Fleury 91, moving level with OL Lyonnes at the summit of Arkema Première Ligue.

PSG arrived three days after a 5-0 Champions League win against Belgian side Leuven and made five changes to the team that started that European fixture. Paulo César’s side nevertheless remained composed throughout a match they largely dictated.
Eighteen-year-old forward Léa Morissaint made her first start of the campaign and gave Paris the advantage from the penalty spot in the 22nd minute. The opportunity followed a handball in the Fleury area, and the strike was Morissaint’s second senior goal.
Jennifer Echegini doubled the visitors’ lead 14 minutes later, putting PSG in firm control before the interval.
Fleury faced an even steeper task shortly before the hour mark. Sakina Karchaoui’s corner caused a scramble in front of goal, with Rasheedat Ajibade quickest to react and turn home PSG’s third in the 58th minute.
The hosts found a late response through substitute Shana Chossenotte, who took advantage of a brief lapse in Paris concentration to score in the 75th minute. It was only a consolation, however, as PSG saw out their fourth victory from four league matches.
Paris now share first place with OL Lyonnes, with both teams maintaining perfect records after four rounds.

The two joint leaders will meet after the international break in a major early-season contest at the Parc des Princes on 17 October, when PSG host OL Lyonnes.
