The Braves have shuffled their pitching order for the Dodgers series, handing Sunday’s Game 2 start to Ray Kerr while moving Chris Sale back one turn to Game 3.
Kerr gets the ball in Game 2
Atlanta’s revised plan places Kerr on the mound Sunday against Los Angeles. The move changes the expected rotation sequence for the middle game of the series and gives Kerr the assignment against the Dodgers’ lineup.
- Ray Kerr will start Game 2 on Sunday.
- The opponent is the Los Angeles Dodgers.
- Chris Sale’s start has been shifted to Game 3.
Sale moved back a game
Sale will remain in the series rotation, but the Braves will wait until Game 3 to send him out. Atlanta’s adjustment leaves Kerr with the earlier start and gives Sale an extra day before his next appearance.
