Roma arrive at the Sinigaglia with a changed goalkeeping picture for Sunday’s 12:30 Serie A meeting with Como, a lunchtime fixture that asks Gian Piero Gasperini’s side to adjust before the championship rhythm has properly settled.
The coach and the club
Mile Svilar will not be available after an injury that is expected to keep him out for around a month. His absence has opened the way for the return of Vasquez, the former Milan and Empoli goalkeeper, who has been included in Gasperini’s squad.
There is also a significant midfield return. Lorenzo Pellegrini has recovered and is back in the group, although he is still waiting for his first Serie A appearance of the season. His availability gives Roma another established option as they prepare for the trip to Como.
The goalkeeping selection includes Vasquez alongside De Marzi and Gollini, while the squad also contains Dybala, Soulé, Malen and Castro among the attacking choices.
Roma squad for Como
- Goalkeepers: Vasquez, De Marzi, Gollini
- Defenders: Rensch, Ndicka, Molina, Hermoso, Mancini, Balerdi, Wesley, Lulli, Ghilardi
- Midfielders: Pellegrini, De Roon, Koné, Pisilli, Mora
