Matias Soulé has welcomed his first child, with the Roma forward becoming father to a boy named Bautista during the international break.
The Argentine playmaker and his partner Milagros shared the news on social media, posting the first photographs of their newborn son. In her message alongside the images, Milagros welcomed Bautista as “the love of our lives” and said the couple already loved him deeply.
Soulé, who is with Lionel Scaloni’s Argentina squad during the current international window, was pictured holding his son shortly after the birth.
The announcement drew congratulations from supporters, Argentine footballers and friends of the couple. Camila Galante, the wife of Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes, sent her best wishes, describing them as a “beautiful family” and expressing her affection for the new parents.
It is a happy personal moment for Soulé, whose Roma season will resume after the international break with a new chapter awaiting away from the pitch as well as on it.
