Serie A Clubs Back Lega del Filo d’Oro’s “A Story of Hands” Campaign

Serie A’s sixth weekend, from 10 to 12 October, will carry a message beyond the results as every club in the top flight joins the Lega del Filo d’Oro for its “A Story of Hands” campaign.

Before kick-off at stadiums across Italy, supporters will see the campaign video on the big screens. The initiative will also be present in the post-match routine: coaches will wear the foundation’s sticker and read its appeal during their usual television interviews, bringing the cause into a weekend normally shaped by points, pressure and the changing mood around each club.

The Lega del Filo d’Oro is seeking public support for its work with deafblind children and adults and their families. Donations will help the foundation open new local centres and strengthen the territorial services already operating around the country.

Hands are at the centre of the campaign’s message. Goalkeepers Alex Meret, Ivan Provedel, Guglielmo Vicario and Lavinia Tornaghi feature symbolically alongside the hands of the foundation’s workers, underlining the support offered to deafblind people. Former goalkeepers Luca Marchegiani and Stefano Sorrentino have also backed the initiative, as have long-standing ambassadors Renzo Arbore and Neri Marcorè.

Fans can contribute by sending an SMS or making a landline call to 45514, helping reinforce the foundation’s presence and services throughout Italy.
