Serie A Matchday 8: No Players Suspended After Latest Yellow Cards

Serie A paused after Matchday 7 with Monza and Torino providing the closing notes of the weekend, beating Cagliari and Parma respectively before attention turns to the European midweek programme.

When the league resumes, every side will have a full squad available from a disciplinary perspective: no player has been suspended for the next round. It is a small but useful reprieve for coaches managing a demanding stretch between domestic fixtures and continental commitments.

There is, however, one player who will return under particular caution. Genoa defender Leo Ostigard is the only footballer currently one booking away from a ban. Another yellow card in the next league match would trigger an automatic suspension, leaving Genoa to weigh his involvement carefully in the weeks ahead.
