- The visitors scored four times and left with a 4-1 victory over Bayern.
- Ralf Vollmer, then 64, captained the Kickers side on a day when their plan worked throughout.
Vollmer celebrated the result alongside teammates Wolfgang Wolf and Bernd Schindler. The win remains a standout result in the club’s Bundesliga history.
