Sanabria disrupted Toluca’s attempts to play out through midfield and prevented regular connections with Portuguese forward Paulinho and Viñas. It was a disciplined local effort that left Mohamed’s team searching for routes around, rather than through, the home side.
Few openings before the decisive corner
