Buenos Aires received a strong visiting presence over the weekend as around 4,000 Vasco da Gama supporters travelled from Brazil for the club’s Copa Sudamericana semi-final against Boca Juniors.

The travelling Vasco contingent arrived in Argentina to back their players for the continental tie, bringing the colours and voice of the Rio de Janeiro club to the streets of Buenos Aires.
The scale of the away support underlined the importance of the semi-final for Vasco, with thousands of fans crossing the border for a place behind the team against Boca.
