Venezia and Lazio meet in the fifth round of the 2026-27 Serie A season with both coaches naming sides intended to give their teams a clear early-season direction. Venezia’s selected side
Stroppa has set his defensive line with Schingtienne, Moreno and Juan Jesus in front of Stankovic. Hainaut and Correia are chosen for the wide midfield roles, with Kike Perez, Sohm and Helgason completing the central unit.

Lazio’s response
Gattuso has named Floriani, Sutalo, Provstgaard and Tavares in his back four, protecting Mandas in goal. Frattesi, Belahyane and Taylor make up the Lazio midfield.
Cancellieri, Noslin and Zaccagni form the visiting front three, giving Lazio their attacking reference points for a fixture that arrives before the season’s early positions have had time to settle.
