The Stade de France is set to see Zinédine Zidane’s France side for the first time on Friday, when the unbeaten Bleus host Italy in the Nations League.
The move
Zidane and forward Ousmane Dembélé will face the media on Thursday from 17:15 ahead of France’s third Nations League fixture.
The match against Italy is scheduled for Friday at 20:45 at the Stade de France. It will be Zidane’s first home game as France coach after a winning start on the road.
The French season around it
France have taken six points from their opening two matches under the 1998 Ballon d’Or winner.
- Zinédine Zidane — France head coach
- Ousmane Dembélé — France forward
The Bleus won 1-0 in Turkey before recording another 1-0 away victory in Belgium. Those results have given Zidane a perfect beginning in charge, but Italy’s visit brings the first opportunity for his team to reconnect with the French public.
Dembélé will join the coach in Thursday’s pre-match press conference as France prepare to defend their early momentum in front of a home crowd.
