Barcelona vs Getafe: Kick-Off Time and How to Watch LaLiga Clash

Barcelona return to Camp Nou on Saturday with a perfect LaLiga record to protect, while Getafe arrive from the outskirts of Madrid seeking to disrupt the leaders’ early-season rhythm after the international break.

League leaders resume at Camp Nou

The eighth round of the 2026/27 Spanish league season brings Getafe to Barcelona on 10 October, with kick-off set for 13:30 Brasília time. Jesús Gil Manzano will referee the match in the Catalan capital.

  • Date: 10 October 2026
  • Venue: Camp Nou, Barcelona
  • Kick-off: 13:30 Brasília time
  • Referee: Jesús Gil Manzano
  • Broadcast: ESPN, Disney+ and CazéTV

Hansi Flick’s side sit alone at the summit with 21 points from seven matches, having won every league fixture so far. Getafe are 11th on eight points, approaching the trip after a 1-0 home victory over Málaga.

Barcelona signed off before the late-September to early-October international window with a 3-1 win at Sevilla. Raphinha supplied all three Barcelona goals in that match, but will not feature against Getafe.

Raphinha rested as October schedule tightens

The Brazilian forward is not injured, yet Flick has decided to leave him out as a precaution because of his recent fitness record. He will also miss Tuesday’s Champions League meeting with Galatasaray.

Flick acknowledged the difficulty of the decision while looking towards an unforgiving run of fixtures.

“I do not like it, but it is part of our job,” the Barcelona coach said. “We have five very important games ahead and we must be ready.”

After hosting Getafe, Barcelona’s October itinerary includes away games against Betis and Paris Saint-Germain, a Camp Nou clásico against Real Madrid, and a home match with Alavés to close the month.

  • Raphinha is being rested and is unavailable.
  • Defender Andreas Christensen is also ruled out.
  • Midfielder Frenkie de Jong will miss the match.
  • Forward Roony Bardghji is another confirmed absentee.
  • Gabriel Jesus could start in the front line.

Getafe welcome back Femenía

Getafe have received a small boost with right-back Kiko Femenía back training alongside the squad. He has returned to the group, although García is expected to retain his starting place in José Bordalás’ defence.

Barcelona are expected to field Joan García in goal, behind João Cancelo, Gerard Martín, Pau Cubarsí and Espart. Rodri, Pedri and Dani Olmo are set to form the midfield, with Lamine Yamal, Gabriel Jesus and Gordon in attack.

Getafe’s likely XI is Soria; García, Romero, Djené, Gudelj and Mojica; Terrats, Mangala and Mario Martín; Azón and Ünal.
