Barcelona’s Dani Olmo has emerged as a major winter-market target for Bayern Munich, where the German champions are weighing an approach worth €90 million for the Spanish international.
Bayern shape a possible winter move
- Bayern have been monitoring Olmo as they assess possible changes in their attacking department, including the prospect of departures involving Michael Olise or Jamal Musiala.
- The Munich club want more creativity and positional flexibility in the winter window, qualities they see in the 28-year-old Barcelona player.
- Olmo can operate as an attacking midfielder or across either wing, making him a potential fit for several roles in Bayern’s forward line.
- A €90 million proposal is being prepared, although Bayern have not yet submitted a formal written offer to Barcelona.
Barcelona contract remains a significant obstacle
Olmo is tied to Barcelona until 2030 and has shown no wish to leave the Catalan club. While his name has also been linked with leading sides elsewhere in Europe, particularly in England, there has been no indication that the player is seeking an exit from the Camp Nou project.
For Bayern, any negotiation would therefore require both a substantial offer to Barcelona and a change of mind from a player whose versatility has made him one of the more closely watched attacking midfielders on the continental market.
