Bo Nix is looking for a cleaner, faster approach as the Broncos quarterback works through the next stage of his development.
Nix Focuses on Simplicity
Speaking Tuesday, Nix said his best path to finding answers is to reduce the game to its most direct form and play with speed.
- Nix said he wants to keep his process simple rather than overcomplicate decisions.
- He described the desired approach as making reads “1-2-3.”
- The quarterback said Denver must then play fast and “roll.”
Fast Decisions at Quarterback
The comment points to an emphasis on efficient operation from the pocket: identifying the progression, making the throw or adjustment, and allowing the offense to maintain tempo. Nix’s message was centered on finding practical solutions through a simplified approach.
