Borussia Dortmund let two points slip in a result that showed an unfamiliar side of the team.
Dortmund lose control
The match ended with Dortmund unable to turn their position into a win. The dropped points stood out because this was not the composed Dortmund seen more regularly in recent weeks.
International break a factor
- The long international break was seen as one reason for Dortmund’s uneven performance.
- The interruption appeared to affect rhythm and continuity.
- Nico Schlotterbeck was among the Dortmund players left frustrated by the outcome.
