Browns Debut Alpha Dawg Uniforms as Giants, Panthers Revive Classic Looks

Week 4 brings one of the NFL season’s most distinctive uniform slates, with the Browns unveiling their brown-on-brown “Alpha Dawg” set against the Steelers on Thursday night, the Giants returning to a familiar 1980s and 1990s look, and the Panthers scheduled to wear black from head to toe in Sunday Night Football against Detroit.

Featured Week 4 uniform matchups

1. The Browns will host Pittsburgh in their all-brown alternate uniform, pairing a brown helmet, jersey and pants. Cleveland introduced the new brown helmet in July 2025 and first wore it last season, making it the franchise’s first brown helmet. Orange numerals appear on the jersey’s chest, back and shoulders, while an orange stripe runs over the helmet.
2. The Giants will wear their legacy blue uniform against the Arizona Cardinals. The design was originally used from 1980 through 1999 before returning in 2022. It includes a navy helmet, traditional-style numbers, red-and-blue detailing on the jersey and pants, and the collar inscription, “Once a Giant, Always a Giant,” honoring late owner Wellington Mara.
3. Carolina will take the field in its all-black combination for Sunday night’s game against the Lions. The Panthers first used the black helmet, black jersey and black pants ensemble in 2022.
4. Dallas will wear navy alternate jerseys with silver pants against Houston. The Cowboys use the navy top only a limited number of times each year.
5. The Texans will counter in liberty white jerseys, deep steel blue helmets and deep steel blue pants. It recreates the uniform contrast from Houston’s first regular-season game as an NFL franchise in 2002, which came against Dallas.
