The NFL has selected Burna Boy to headline halftime at its first regular-season game in France, with the Nigerian artist set to perform when the Pittsburgh Steelers face the New Orleans Saints in Paris on Oct. 25.

The 2026 NFL Paris Game will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CEST, or 9:30 a.m. ET, at Stade de France. Burna Boy’s appearance is part of the league’s expanded international entertainment schedule, which will feature seven halftime productions across seven countries and four continents.

Burna Boy previously made history at Stade de France in April 2025, becoming the first African artist to headline the venue. The Grammy-winning Afro-fusion star has received 13 Grammy nominations and was also the first African performer to appear on the main Grammy Awards telecast.

“Paris was the setting for one of the greatest moments of my career,” Burna Boy said. “Returning to Stade de France for this means a great deal to me. This is a first for France, and I will be there representing African music with a performance people remember.”

The game is presented by American Express and is being staged with GL events and support from France’s Ministry of Sports. France Télévisions and beIN Sports will carry Burna Boy’s performance live, while L’Équipe is scheduled to air the game later that night.

International schedule expands

The Paris booking is one of several halftime acts already announced for the NFL’s 2026 international slate. The Jonas Brothers will perform at the Melbourne game on Sept. 10 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, while Pedro Sampaio and Ricky Martin are set for the Rio game on Sept. 27 at Maracanã Stadium.

Ayra Starr will headline the Oct. 11 London game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Cage The Elephant will perform during the Munich game at FC Bayern Munich Arena on Nov. 15, followed by The Warning at Mexico City’s Estadio Banorte on Nov. 22.

The NFL has played 62 regular-season games outside the United States. Previous host cities include London, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Madrid, Dublin, São Paulo, Mexico City and Toronto.

In 2026, the international schedule includes games in London, Madrid, Melbourne, Mexico City, Munich, Paris and Rio de Janeiro. London will host three games, including two at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and one at Wembley Stadium.

The league plans to announce additional entertainment and fan-event details for Paris at a later date.
