Another Classique is approaching under the lights, but one familiar travelling end will remain empty unless Parisian ultras can win their case in court. The Collectif Ultras Paris has announced an urgent legal challenge to its latest ban from Marseille’s Vélodrome for Sunday night’s meeting with Olympique de Marseille.
Paris ultras seek legal route back to Marseille for Classique
The CUP said it has instructed its lawyer to take an emergency case to the Conseil d’État, France’s highest administrative court. The group wants to contest the expected ministerial order barring its members from travelling and seek the cancellation of a prefectural order dated 28 August 2026.
OM host Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday at 20:45, with the fixture again set to take place without organised visiting support from the capital if the restrictions remain in force.

In its statement, the Paris support group said that 11 years of restrictions were enough. It argued that repeated bans cannot replace meaningful engagement with supporters.
The CUP said six prefects have held office during the period without any genuine dialogue being established. Its members have been prevented from making the trip to Marseille since 2015.
The restrictions have applied in both directions in recent Classiques. For the last Paris-OM match at the Parc des Princes on 8 February, Marseille’s travelling fans were also prohibited from attending.
