Pierce’s placement on injured reserve removes a key member of Indianapolis’ receiving group from the active roster. Gould now joins the 53-man roster after beginning the season on the practice squad, while Westbrook-Ikhine is available as a temporary elevation for the upcoming game.
Steelers elevate two defenders
Pittsburgh added defensive depth for game day by elevating defensive end Tyreke Smith and linebacker Cole Christiansen from the practice squad.
Smith gives the Steelers another option along the edge, while Christiansen provides additional linebacker and special-teams coverage.
Cardinals reshuffle roster
Arizona signed defensive back Erick Hallett from its practice squad, waived linebacker Owen Pappoe and elevated running back Michael Carter for game day.
