Peñarol’s Argentine player Cristian Leonel Jaime has addressed for the first time the dispute that followed his decision to stop an attacking move so that an injured opponent could receive treatment.
The incident created tension within the Peñarol side, with several of Jaime’s team-mates reproaching him for halting the attack while their opponent was on the ground.
