Dele Alli found a little mischief in Stamford Bridge’s empty seats after watching his former club Tottenham win 2-0 at Chelsea.
Alli enjoys Tottenham’s London win
The former Spurs midfielder was at Stamford Bridge as Tottenham secured an unexpected 2-0 victory over Chelsea, a result that left the home side and manager Xabi Alonso with an awkward afternoon in west London.
Alli marked the occasion by recording a video from inside the ground, turning his attention towards Chelsea great John Terry.
A joke aimed at Terry
- Alli filmed from Stamford Bridge following Tottenham’s 2-0 win.
- He made light of Terry’s vacant seat after Chelsea’s defeat.
- The joke came as Alli watched the club he previously represented claim a notable away result.
For Tottenham, it was the sort of win that travels well across London. For Chelsea, and for Terry’s unused seat, it made for a rather less cheerful backdrop.
