The Dodgers closed the regular season with a familiar number on the board and a little more history for Dave Roberts. Their 5-1, 10-inning win over the Giants at Oracle Park gave Los Angeles 100 victories, its sixth 100-win season under Roberts and its fifth across the last seven full 162-game campaigns.
Alex Call broke the tie with a double in the 10th, and Andy Pages followed with a three-run homer to finish the job. The Dodgers now head into October as defending World Series champions, with another title chase waiting after their Wild Card Series bye.

Roberts had already made another mark earlier this season, reaching 1,000 managerial wins faster than any skipper in Major League history. The 100-win club puts him alongside two Hall of Fame names in Cox and McCarthy.
“That’s rare air, good company,” Roberts said. “There have been a lot of good players and a great organization behind it. Winning 100 games is not easy, especially with everything this club went through. We stayed with it, kept playing, and it is something to be proud of.”
The Dodgers have learned that a big regular-season total does not guarantee the final celebration. In the franchise’s previous 11 100-win seasons, Los Angeles did not finish with a championship.
There is a twist in the recent history, though. The three Dodgers clubs that fell short of 100 victories in 2020, 2024 and 2025 all won the World Series. The 2020 schedule was shortened by the pandemic, while the past two seasons produced consecutive championships.
“Maybe that means we’re due as an organization,” Freddie Freeman said. “Nobody in here is going to complain about winning 100 games.”
This October presents a different kind of assignment. The Dodgers are trying to become the first Major League club to win three straight World Series titles since the Yankees took three in a row from 1998 through 2000.
For now, the club gets a few days to reset while Atlanta and Philadelphia meet in the Wild Card Series. Once that matchup is settled, Los Angeles opens the NLDS at home Saturday, with Game 1 set to air on FOX, FS1, FOX Deportes and FOX One.
The regular season is complete, and the 100-win line is safely crossed. From here, the Dodgers need 11 more wins to carry the Commissioner’s Trophy back through their clubhouse for a third consecutive year.
