FC Nantes Teen Tylel Tati Ruled Out for Three Months with Meniscus Injury

FC Nantes have been handed another setback in an uncertain spell, with teenage defender Tylel Tati facing around three months out after a meniscus injury suffered on France Under-19 duty.

The Ligue 1 news

Tati was injured on Thursday during France Under-19s’ 2-1 win against Turkey. The 18-year-old centre-back is expected to undergo surgery in the coming days, with his recovery projected to keep him off the pitch for approximately three months.

The absence is a significant blow for Nantes, who are already navigating uncertainty both on the field and away from it. Tati emerged as one of the club’s notable discoveries during the first half of last season.

The young defender had also come close to joining Chelsea during last winter’s transfer window, underlining the interest generated by his early progress in Ligue 1.

The next appointment in France

Nantes must now plan without Tati for the coming months as the defender begins his expected rehabilitation following surgery.
