A decisive start in Paris
Torres was again central on Sunday night as PSG took a 2-1 win away to Olympique de Marseille in Le Classique. He opened the scoring for the visitors, extending a run that has placed him at the heart of the early-season story in the French capital.

Torres’s output has not quite matched the extraordinary early rate set by Raphinha at Barcelona. The Brazilian has registered 14 goals across league and Champions League football in eight appearances, taking 625 minutes to do so.
Raphinha’s average stands at one goal every 44 minutes, narrowly ahead of Torres’s 46-minute mark. Yet in Paris, where a new season is still taking shape, Torres has already made the €55 million move look like a highly effective piece of business.
