Golden State Locks In Brandin Podziemski on $110M Extension

Brandin Podziemski has reached agreement with the Golden State Warriors on a five-year contract extension worth $110 million, keeping the young guard tied to the franchise beyond his current deal.

Podziemski’s agent confirmed the agreement. The extension represents a major commitment from Golden State to a backcourt piece it views as part of its next roster cycle, with Podziemski’s versatility, rebounding from the guard spot and connective playmaking giving the Warriors another long-term option around their veteran core.

The deal lands at an average annual value of $22 million and secures Podziemski’s future in the Bay Area for five additional seasons.
