India arrive after a 1-1 draw against Panama. While recent performances have not always been fluent, the hosts have shown they can remain competitive against the opponents placed in front of them.
Brazil’s latest international programme brought a draw followed by a convincing win over Australia. That second outing, however, came with a significant cost as Raphinha suffered an injury.
With the winger unavailable, Brazil will look to Endrick, Estêvão and Vinícius to supply the attacking edge in Calcutta. The trio will aim to extend their current form and guide Brazil towards another victory on the road.
