Several key starters are trending toward availability as Week 5’s Sunday slate approaches, though pregame workouts will determine whether Minnesota can deploy both Jordan Addison and Justin Jefferson against New Orleans.
Addison, listed as questionable with a hamstring injury, and Jefferson, questionable because of an ankle issue, are both scheduled to test their injuries before the Vikings face the Saints. New Orleans expects running back Alvin Kamara to be available despite a back injury, giving the offense a major boost in the same matchup.
Atlanta left tackle Jake Matthews is expected to suit up for Sunday night’s game against Baltimore after being designated questionable with a groin injury. The Ravens, meanwhile, anticipate having wide receiver Zay Flowers and cornerback Marlon Humphrey in the lineup. Flowers has been managing a foot issue, while Humphrey has dealt with hamstring and calf injuries.
Chicago wide receiver Keenan Allen is expected to play against Pittsburgh despite a groin injury. In Denver, however, the Chargers are not expected to have wideout Ladd McConkey, who is questionable with a foot injury, for their game against the Broncos.
Las Vegas running back Ashton Jeanty remains a less certain case. Jeanty is hopeful that he can play through an ankle injury against New England, but his status has not been finalized. The Patriots expect both running back Rhamondre Stevenson, who has a knee injury, and defensive tackle Christian Barmore, who has a shoulder issue, to play against the Raiders.
Carolina running back Rico Dowdle is unlikely to be available for the Colts matchup because of a toe injury. Wide receiver Carnell Tate, dealing with a back injury, is trending toward playing against Houston.
