Juventus Extend Nico Gonzalez Contract Until 2030

Juventus have turned a summer market question into a longer-term commitment, extending Nico Gonzalez’s contract until 30 June 2030. The Argentine forward signed the new agreement on the day of the announcement, placing him firmly in the club’s plans as the season develops.

A longer Juventus commitment

Gonzalez arrived in Turin in the summer of 2024 after his spell with Fiorentina, and his renewed deal confirms Juventus’ intention to continue the project built around him. Born in 1998, the Argentine has made 45 appearances in black and white and scored seven goals since joining the club.

  • New contract expiry: 30 June 2030.
  • Annual salary: €3.7 million net, plus bonuses.
  • The agreement includes the benefits available through the Decreto Crescita tax scheme.
  • Juventus will also reduce the annual amortisation cost linked to his transfer fee through the extension.

An early contribution this season

The renewal comes after Gonzalez made a useful start to the current campaign. He has scored twice in five appearances, adding to a forward department that Juventus expect to carry a substantial workload across the season.

Within the club’s assessment, Gonzalez offers unpredictability and different options in attack, alongside the experience and personality expected of a player who can influence the group both on the pitch and around the dressing room.

From Fiorentina to a central role in Turin

His time at Juventus began amid a busy summer in the market, but the new contract changes the perspective. Rather than remaining a player whose future could be revisited at the next window, Gonzalez now has a deal that runs deep into the decade.

For Juventus, the decision combines sporting continuity with a financial adjustment to the player’s book value. For Gonzalez, it is a vote of confidence after 45 matches, seven goals and a promising opening to the new season.
