Kawhi Leonard is staying in Toronto on a new two-year extension worth $115 million, with a player option attached for the 2028-29 season.
Leonard’s agent, Harrison Gaines of SLASH Sports, confirmed the agreement Tuesday. The deal keeps the Raptors’ star forward under contract beyond his current arrangement while preserving Leonard’s ability to control his future through the option year.

The extension adds two seasons to Leonard’s Toronto commitment and includes the 2028-29 player option, giving him the choice to remain with the franchise or enter free agency after the guaranteed portion of the deal.
At $115 million over two years, the agreement represents another major investment by the Raptors in Leonard, the two-way wing at the center of the club’s long-term plans.
