Josh Hart took a little of New York’s basketball championship glow across town Saturday, stepping onto the field at Yankee Stadium before the Yankees’ game against the Baltimore Orioles.
The Knicks wing was recognized by the Yankees with a Josh Hart bobblehead giveaway as the club prepared for the MLB postseason. Hart then handled the ceremonial first pitch, jogging out to the mound area and delivering a clean throw that reached the catcher’s glove without much drama.
It was a fitting crossover for Hart, who helped deliver a championship to New York earlier this year. The Yankees will be hoping some of that momentum carries into October as they chase their own title run.
