Serie A’s sixth round came to a close with Torino beating Udinese at home, but the weekend’s strongest individual returns were delivered elsewhere. Kevin De Bruyne drove Napoli to three points with two goals, while Atalanta’s Nikola Krstovic produced the round’s leading fantasy score after dismantling Venezia with two goals and an assist.
De Bruyne’s double gave him a fantasy total of 14 and placed him at the centre of the midfield selections. Alongside the Belgian, Petar Sucic reached 10.5, while Adrien Rabiot, Riccardo Orsolini, Daniel Maldini and Junior Messias each finished on 10.
Atalanta had even more cause to celebrate Krstovic’s afternoon. His two strikes and assist against Venezia brought him a 14.5 rating, the best attacking return of the matchday and the highest score in the overall XI. Fiorentina’s meeting with Osmajic also produced a decisive contribution: his goal and assist earned 11.5. Marcus Thuram completed the forward line after scoring against Parma, finishing with 10.5.
Roma goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini made the most of his opportunity in place of Mile Svilar. He kept Como out and recorded an 8.5 score, the highest among the weekend’s goalkeepers. The defence was led by Como’s Stefan Odenthal, who scored against Milan for a total of 10, while Nuno Tavares and Saba Goglichidze both found the net in Lazio’s match against Monza and registered 9.5 apiece.
The sixth round therefore left its mark through familiar themes of a long Italian season: established names deciding major games, deputies taking their chance, and attackers turning one good afternoon into a meaningful contribution for their clubs.
