Rino Gattuso has given his squad five days away from the training ground after Saturday’s win in Venice, allowing a brief pause before the international break reshapes the work at Formello.
A short reset after Venice
The players will return to training on Friday, with Gattuso expected to use the next sessions to restore numbers within the group and prepare for the final fixture of the week.

Injured players moving closer
There is encouraging news from the treatment room, with two of the three absent players set to rejoin collective training when work resumes.
- Fisayo Dele-Bashiru is expected back with the group.
- Adam Marusic should also return to regular sessions.
- Nicolo Rovella will need a few more days before rejoining, although he is expected to resume normal work during the international break.
International call-ups reduce the group
Gattuso’s available squad will nevertheless be reduced by eight players away on international duty. Their absence will leave the coach to manage the friendly against Arezzo with a reshaped group, while the returning injured players work towards full rhythm.
