Lazio and Monza have their match preparations set around contrasting systems, with Ivan Juric’s side named in a 3-4-2-1 and Gennaro Gattuso’s Lazio arranged in a 4-3-3.
The decision
Monza’s listed XI has Tornqvist in goal, protected by Kouadio, Lucchesi and Carboni. Birindelli and Mangas are set to operate on the outside, with Akinsanmiro and Folorunsho in midfield.
Behind Varela, the attacking positions have been presented in two versions: one includes Zeballos and Ngonge, while another places Cutrone alongside Robinson. Robinson appears in the forward group in both selections.
Lazio are set to start Mandas, with Floriani Mussolini, Provstgaard, Doekhi and Nuno Tavares making up the back four. Frattesi, Belayhane and Taylor form the midfield line, while Isaksen, Noslin and Zaccagni lead the attack.
Giuseppe Collu of the Cagliari section will referee the match. Bahri and Moro have been appointed as assistants, Mariani will serve as fourth official, and Di Paolo and Volpi will operate as VAR and assistant VAR respectively.
